Zagorakis . O grande comandante da .nau grega., organizando-a dentro de campo. Uma peça-chave na estrutura da equipa. Um jogador de grande utilidade, que se destacou nesta prova. Ainda assim, não deixa de constituir uma surpresa a sua “eleição” pela UEFA como melhor jogador do Torneio!… Na minha modesta opinião, haveria outros candidatos eventualmente mais “merecedores” desta distinção: Milan Baros, ou, “puxando a brasa à nossa sardinha”, Maniche ou Ricardo Carvalho.

Zidane . Longe da sua melhor forma, foi ainda assim, o grande .timoneiro. da equipa da França, tendo procurado .carregar aos seus ombros. a sua selecção. Mas, como jogo colectivo que é, a apatia de muitos jogadores franceses (muito má campanha de Trezeguet; Henry, sofrível.) impossibilitou que .a nau fosse levada a bom porto..

P. S. Foi muito bonita a Festa! E já deixa “saudades”…
